I visited the website of Mr. and Mrs. Eyfells.The sculptures are extraordinary- they echo some of the greater mysteries of life and science and the origins of creativity. The paintings are such a beautiful and also strong arena. The impact is immediate and no looking away. This art of this husband and wife team is most intriguing. Dear Johann, I was very sorry to hear that Lila left us this morning. I think of her often, and when I do, I know that she will always be with me. I still hear voice and her laughter and the way she always embraced life, celebrated love and art and never relented in pursuing her vision. I am enriched for having known her and blessed by having her count in life and death as one of my friends. I know this is a great loss, but you must realize that she left us very much loved by all that knew her, and that she knew that you above all others loved her best.

I came across your site whilst helping my 12 yr old daughter with her art homework (looking for portraits to compare). We were both wowed by Kirsten's paintings. I hope you don't mind that she has decided to compare our favourite, Dali, with Dantes "Persephone". (Should make for an interesting comparison.) Having seen several interviews with Dali I think Kirsten has really captured his essence. Did he ever see this picture?
